Switch on the SYMBIOS HANDSET before diving and make all necessary settings on the surface. Check the SYMBIOS HANDSET for damages before diving. Before entering the water check:

▪Gradient settings
▪Gas settings
▪Time and date
▪Units: use units you are familiar with (imperial or metric)
Switch on the SYMBIOS HANDSET before you enter the water.
Before each dive check the battery power and recharge the battery if necessary. Recharge the battery when the computer has not been used for a long time. Low temperatures can affect battery performance. Pay special attention to the charge level of the battery during cold-water dives
Verify before each dive, that the SYMBIOS HANDSET settings are correct.
If you are using breathing gases other than air, analyze the breathing gas before the dive. Verify that the fractions in the gas table are correctly set.
Set the SYMBIOS HANDSET to units you are familiar with (imperial or metric units)
