The SYMBIOS HANDSET was tested according to various EU-Normatives and has passed those tests, thus is CE compliant. For more information, please see section CE and FCC.

Next to many test dives in sea and fresh water, additionally numerous simulated dives were carried out in the laboratory and in the hyperbaric chamber to validate the correct function of the computer and the correct implementation of the decompression model. The code was validated agains Eric C Bakers implementation of the Buehlmann ZH-L16 algorithm with Gradient Factor extension.

The SYMBIOS HANDSET together with the SYMBIOS Tank Pod were tested according to EN250:2014.

Prior to shipment, your SYMBIOS HANDSET was tested for water and pressure resistance.
