The SYMBIOS HANDSET features an integrated vibrator motor to alert the diver of potentially dangerous situations.
Those include:
▪Tank pressure below 50 bar
one vibration signal each 24 s
▪Tank pressure below 25 bar
one vibration signal each 8 s
▪Ceiling violation
one vibration signal each s
▪pO2 too high or too low:
one vibration signal each s
Moreover vibration is also used to prompt the diver to do a:
▪gas switch
one vibration signal each 24 s
▪tank switch in sidemount diving, when the tank pressure difference between the two tanks is greater than 30 bar
one vibration signal each 24 s
Vibration alarms can be enabled/disabled in menu/SYSTEM/VIB ALARMS
Press and hold both buttons to confirm an alarm and deactivate a pop up message and vibration alarm.
If new potentially dangerous situations occur, vibration alarms will be triggered, even if previously a vibration alarm was confirmed.
